Check from the ground
Look for tiles or slates in the garden, gaps along the roof, displaced ridge tiles, leaning chimney pots and bent gutters. Check the loft with a torch for daylight or damp.
Insurance
Take photos, note the date of the storm and contact your insurer. A roofer's written report and photos can help support a claim.
