How much does a roof repair cost? What affects the price
Why roof repair prices vary so much and what you're paying for.
Access is often the biggest factor
A tile reachable from a ladder is a very different job from a chimney needing scaffolding. Access frequently costs more than the materials.
Other factors
The type of roof, matching materials, how much damage water has already done, and whether lead or mortar work is needed.
Avoid paying twice
A cheap patch over a bigger problem rarely lasts. Ask for photos of what was found so you understand what you're paying for.
