What drives the price
Roof size and pitch, the material (concrete tiles, clay tiles or natural slate), access and scaffolding, the condition of the timbers, and extras such as chimneys, valleys, dormers and roofline replacement.
Comparing quotes
Check each quote includes the same things: scaffolding, removal of old materials, underlay type, ridge and verge system, leadwork and any guarantee. A cheaper quote often leaves something out.
